Program Pathway

Here's what you can expect when you take part in the Autism@Work Employment program.

Step 1

Contact your Local employment Centre

Step 2

Assessment Phase

This phase includes two stages of intake to help determine whether the program is the right fit for you. Together, we’ll explore your goals, interests, and support needs to ensure we can create a pathway that sets you up for success.

Step 3

Toolkit development

You’ll receive individualized support to help identify and remove disability and employment-related barriers. This step focuses on building tools and strategies that will strengthen your confidence and prepare you for meaningful employment.

Step 4

Pre-Employment Supports & Coaching

We’ll work with you to develop practical job readiness skills, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search techniques. One-on-one coaching will help you gain confidence and feel prepared to move forward.

Step 5

Job Development

Our team will help manage your job applications and connect you with inclusive employers. We’ll focus on finding roles that align with your skills, interests, and career goals.

Step 6

Employment & Post-Employment Support

Once you’re hired, we’ll continue to support you through onboarding, on-call assistance, and regular check-ins. This ensures a positive and sustainable employment experience for both you and your employer.
